The Story
Domaine Les 4 Vents is run by sisters Lucie Fourel and Nancy Cellier, who farm their vineyards organically in the northern Rhône Valley. Their Crozes-Hermitage
parcels sit on granite and clay soils shaped by the Rhône River, producing wines that lean toward freshness and precision rather than power. The cuvée Les Pitchounettes is named after Lucie’s daughters — a personal touch that reflects the family roots behind the estate.In contrast to the richer Shiraz styles of warmer climates, northern Rhône Syrah focuses on purity and structure. Oak plays a supporting role here, allowing the grape and the vineyard to speak clearly.
In the glass: blackberry, violet and cracked black pepper, with fresh acidity and fine tannins. Savoury, elegant and quietly powerful — a classic expression of Rhône Syrah.
