Description
Domaine Lafage “Centenaire” 2024
Nickname: The Old Vine White
Enjoy it when:
For sunlit lunches, cosy evenings or anytime you want a white that’s both soft and elegant.
Bottle Tale:
Centenaire is crafted from 100-year-old Grenache Blanc vines, grown on sandy soils near the Mediterranean. Sea breezes keep the fruit fresh while Rhône varieties like Roussanne bring peach, honeysuckle and gentle weight.
Winemaker Jean-Marc Lafage builds richness without heaviness. Expect pear, peach and a soft mineral line — a southern French white with surprising finesse.
Let it linger:
Chill lightly. Pair with roast chicken, grilled prawns, creamy pasta, risotto or simple dinners built around olive oil and herbs.
