The Story
Lone Palm Vineyards sits in the heart of South Australia’s Barossa Valley, where old Shiraz vines thrive in warm sunshine and ancient soils. The winery takes its name from a solitary palm tree standing among the vineyards. Here Shiraz shows its warmer-climate personality. The grapes ripen fully on the Barossa’s sun-drenched hillsides, producing wines with richness, depth and generous dark fruit.
Unlike the savoury Syrah of the Northern Rhône, Barossa Shiraz often embraces oak. This wine is matured in a mix of American and French barrels, adding notes of vanilla, baking spice and cocoa while rounding the powerful fruit.
In the glass: ripe blackberry and plum layered with sweet spice and soft tannins. It’s bold, polished and unmistakably Barossa in style.
