Description
Neudorf Tiritiri Pinot Gris 2023
Nickname: The Silky One
Enjoy it when:
For soft, relaxed evenings when you want something textured and gently aromatic.
Bottle Tale:
Neudorf’s north-facing Nelson vineyards produce Pinot Gris with ripeness and subtle spice. Parcels ferment with wild yeasts where possible, and the wine rests on lees for extra savoury depth. And importantly: Pinot Gris isn’t Pinot Grigio — same grape, different personality. Gris is the silkier, more textural cousin.
Winemaker Todd Stevens crafts a style that’s ripe with pear and peach, lightly spiced and mouth-coating without being rich. Quiet confidence in a glass.
Let it linger:
Chill lightly and serve in a big glass. Pair with creamy dishes, roast chicken, mushroom risotto, grilled fish or a posh cheese toastie.
