The Story
Dancing Duchess was created by friends Archie Patel and Allie Cope, two passionate champions of English wine who wanted to make a sparkling rosé that captured
the energy of the modern English wine scene — elegant, vibrant and a little playful.
Sourced from vineyards in Kent’s chalky soils, the wine i s made in the traditional method and aged on lees to build texture and finesse. Production is tiny — only around 1,200 bottles — keeping the project deliberately small and hands-on.
In the glass: wild strawberry, raspberry and blood orange with a fine, lively mousse. A touch of creamy brioche from the lees sits alongside bright citrus and a clean chalky finish. Fresh, joyful and unmistakably English.
